Adequate Intake
The recommended average daily intake level that is seen to be adequate for the heathy population.
Tolerable Upper Intake Level
The highest average daily nutrient intake level that is likely to pose no risk of adverse health effects to almost all individuals in the general population.
Acceptable Macronutrient Distribution Range
A percentage of total energy intake.
