Internalisation means
accepting the majorities views as your own
Internalisation is going along with the
majority and believing in their views
Internalisation: you’re accepting and internalising their views so
they’re now part of your own
Insternalisation might happen if your in an
unfamiliar situation and you don’t now what the correct way to behave is
Compliance means
going along with things even if you disagree with them
Compliance is where you
go along with the majority even if you don’t share the same views
you do compliance to appear
normal and avoid rejection
Identification means
doing what’s expected of you to fulfil a role
Identification is conforming to
what’s expected of you to fulfil a social role
Identification means changing your behaviour because you
want to fit a specific role in society or trying to imitate the behaviour of a role model
