- To be healed u need to be able to get hypnotesis
- emotional charged reminiscences (erinnerung) which are suppressed -> stimuli which then normally arouse the memory now activate the suppresed emotional energy which is then send to musculatur to prdoduce hysterical symptons

- Symptons of hysteria can be caused by multiple sources/Stiumuli even though only one would have been neccesary
What are pathogenic ideas ?
- The emotions which are suppressed by an hysteria patient
What is repression ?
that the unconscious pathogenic ideas are not forgotten but actively repressed !
What is the intrapsychic conflict ?
- one side conscious patients want to collaborate and be cured but
- other side the unconscious part fears the pain and resists to therapy
What is the seduction theory ?
- All hysteria symptons are connected to sexual abuse in early childhood
- bad reputation
