What should be used secondary prevention?
-Clopidogrel 75mg
or
Aspirin 75mg plus dipyridamole MR 2000mg

Blood pressure drugs, even if blood pressure is in normal range
If carotid is stenosed by 50-69% what is the reduction of risk of death by stroke after 5 years ?
7-9%

Patients with a suspected stroke should have:
- Ambulance priority (blue light) in appropriate cases
- Rapid triage on arrival at hospital
- immediate access to specialist stroke services
- Rapid brain imaging
- Rapid specialist assessment
