A

Measure the length using a piece of floss and bend using Adams pliers

How are teeth prepared for a trauma splint?

A

Acid etch the three teeth - avulsed and two abutments - for 10 seconds and apply prime and bond
Apply composite to the traumatised tooth and those adjacent, avoiding contact areas

Sink the contoured, passive wire into the composite
Shape and cure composite, adding a thin covering to the top of the wire
