When turning final and you see you are in position to land.

Why do you aim for 2 NM from the RWY?
2nm = slightly more than whats needed for a 180deg turn at 170kts GS with bank 25. (1.8nm exact.)
Why build a 5nm circle around the airport.
If you’re inside the 5nm circle you are at the correct distance normally for the pattern.
How du you make sure you level off at 1500 AAL for the traffic pattern?
Start reducing thrust at 300ft below TPA (1500AAL)

You will most likely still be turning reaching TPA.
When you start reducing power for TPA what do you pitch for?
