Emergency TIME assesment?
Fuel flow one engine= 15min flight time
Non normals general?
ARE WE READY?
Checklist complete PRIOR to final
Non normals review?
Do we have expected outcome?
Do we need to do more or less.
Before every takeoff/landing ask yourself?
Did we do everything?
All checklist complete?
All procedures done?
What do you do if you dont like the captain you fly with?
Just fly as normal
Follow SOP.
Minimize talking.

Make informed decisions.
Do NOT mention your thinking until you verify 2-3 times reason behind.
Fuel decision must be clear why or why not

LOW vis APPROACH? Approach plate says CAT3 and does not mention RA?
You fly a CAT3. NDH using visibility RVR mention on chart if higher than OMA
Low vis APPROACH.
You get LAND2?
Set 50ft RA and comply with 175m or according to chart if higher.
Flaps on low vis approach?
F30 if possible. Better view of RWY.
Low vis takeoff flaps?
Flaps 20 if possible
Callouts CAT 3ndh?
1000ft stable/unstable
500ft land __
200RA alert height

select REV IDLE BLANKS.
Visible moistre for NAI/EAI?
1600m vis or less.
Wet on RAMP, TWY or RWY
Rain snow ect
When do you need NAI or EAI?
At 10deg celcius or less with visible moisture.
When do you need RUN UP?
AT 3 deg celcius
And lower with NAI/EAI
What temprature do you need RUN UP?
OAT on ground is 3deg or LESS.
Run up settings?
-8F= 40% 5sec (vib 55% 20sec)
RB211= 60% 10sec
CF6= 60% 30sec
Can be done BEFORE runway if oil temprature is normal.
Must be done less than 30min prior to takeoff.
Specials in cold cold temprature:
Lowest usuable temp deice/anti ice
- RB211- min 10deg oil temp to advance thrust
- RB211- below -20 manual start
- 8F minus30deg or less HYD DEM ON or AUX
- 8F minus35deg less GEN CONT off during start until 2min after
Sandstorm /duststorm special?
Do NOT TAKEOFF into sand or dust cloud!!
Turbulance speed?
310/.83
Precautions windshear during takeoff initial climb?
Airspeed fluctuations during initial climb is first indicstion of windshear.
Fly normal pitch until clear terrain obsticales.
Only reduce pitch for stickshaker.
400= 14deg.
-8F= 12.5deg.
Windshear escape maneuver 15deg pitch FULL THRUST
HOT AND HUMID AIRPORTS. Top of descend:
- Temprature MORE THAN 25deg (so 26,27,28,29 ect)
- AND temp/dew point of 4 deg OR LESS
TOD: set ambient airport temprature
After landing: 2packs OFF
