the long-term maintenance of responsibility of the product, in the social, economic and environmental aspects.
Sustainable development
This is focused on meeting the needs of the future without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs
Triple bottom line
Focuses on three different aspects, which are social, environmental and economic or also known as the three p´s (profit,planet,people).
Measuring triple bottom line
One easy way is by monetizing the three different aspects, however this may be seen bad by some people as the values may be subjective
Use of Triple Bottom line
With this TBL you can see and evaluate your sustainability on different systems services and products.
Decoupling
disconnecting of the trend of success being measured by profit growth, because this is obtained by an increase in consumption and production
Resource decoupling
Getting more efficiency from the resources we use
Impact decoupling
Using resources to create a smaller footprint on the ecosystem, an example of this can be dematerialization
sustainability reporting
This is a report that companies give on four different performances which are economic, environmental, social and governance
