Daughter witnessed the discovery - may b distressing

Want to know y thr was no explanation of possibility of rupture b4 the operation
Establish how much daughter understands
Explain the medical situation

Listen to how daughter observed the leak
Express concern - observing the complication
Explain y TOE is used in association with cardiac sx
Give a plausible explanation of y consent was not obtained.
