Acronym for PD
Traits are
Inflexible
Disabling
Extreme
Inflexible
Normally, people adapt to new situations. Eg. an extrovert occasionally goes out and vice versa. Once traits become rigid, it can become problematic. Eg show impulsive behaviour in unfitting situations
Disabling
Distressing to the individual, but also aggrevating to the environment. Interpersonal contact is often difficult. Causing more difficulty for the individual
Extreme
Traits are on a spectrum, yet people w PD are often at the extremes. This makes it hard to act in situations that call for the other end of the spectrum.

B banned bc they can’t behave (Borderline, Anti-social, Histronic, Narcissistic)
C dead on arrival bc worried (Dependent, Obsessive-Compulsive, Avoidant)
