Layer 1
Actor, dispositional traits. FFM. Relatively stable across life, not really what you want to aim at in therapy. 2nd & 3rd layer are more interesting/dynamic
Layer 2
Agent layer: Motivated agents
Stands for what you strive for, value, in line with your motivation and time and role specific
Provides direction, and starts around age 8. It’s not free of context. It explains how people w same level 1 profile can be completely different people
Layer 3
What makes you unique. The internalized everevolving story of your life. It’s not the truth, but how we make sense of who we are. Themes in your life that you deem important, developed you into the person you are today.
