Water on Earth is constantly recycled but how ?

Answer 1

1) Energy from sun makes water evaporate from land and sea turning it into water vapour
2) Water also evaporates from plants = transpiration
3) Warm water vapour carried up and as it gets higher up it cools and condenses as clouds

4) water falls from cloud as precipitation onto land where it provides fresh water for plants (for photosynthesis )and animals

What do animals need the water for and how do they return it ?

Answer 2

for chemical reactions that happen inside their body and animals return water to soil and atmosphere by excretion

How is water used by plants ?

Answer 3

Some of this water taken up by soil and plant roots
Some of this water taken up by plants becomes part of
plants tissues and is transferred to animals in food
chains

Question 4

What will occur to the water if it does not get absorbed by soil

Answer 4

runoff into streams and rivers -> drains back into sea -> evaporation all over again
