A

Young soldiers came back from war and impregnated their wife’s or girlfriends as they hadn’t died or they impregnated before hand because they thought they were going to die

How did increased economic power occur?

A

As after ww2 there was loads of destruction and therefore lots of reconstruction needed, which created work for the working class including youth. Abrams discovered it was often youths spending money on leisure.

A

As when the soldiers came from war, they were relieved that they hadn’t died and therefore wanted to have fun and break norms, leading to an increase in leisure activities.
