- For the auxillary verb, take the correct form of haber in the imperfect tense.
- Add the past participle of the verb being done.
What does haber mean?
Why is it different to tener?
To have, to be
Tener expresses possession, age, obligation and states of being.
Haber expresses existence, which is why it’s used to say ‘there are’ (hay). It is used as an auxillary verb instead of tener.
