The Peripheral Nervous System is made up of all the nerves outside the central nervous system
It may be further sub-divided into the Somatic Nervous System and The Autonomic Nervous System

A
The Somatic Nervous System includes all parts of the Nervous System that enable the body to react to changes in the external environment
They include those Sensory Nerves that carry impulses from parts of the body that pick up changes in the environment and those Motor Nerves which carry impulses back to muscles or glands which react to these impulses
