what does the lymphatic system do?
A
collect the extra interstitial fluid and return it to the blood
proteins and large particles that can’t be taken up by capillaries are taken up by lymph system
- the lymph system recycles the interstitial fluid and monitors the blood for infection
-most tissues are drained by the lymph system (exception is the CNS)
