Q

Hormones of the adrenal cortex

Q

What is the major mineral corticoid hormone secreted from the adrenal cortex?

A

inc the Na and Cl reabsorption and it will dec the K+ and H+ secretion in the collecting tubule of kidney
eventually will result in inc blood pressure. ( secondary effect)

Q

what is the main glucocorticoid hormone that is released from the adrenal cortex?

Q

what hormones does the adrenal medulla produce?
