Controls the amount of light entering the eye.

Controls the shape of the lens.

Focuses light onto the retina.

Innermost layer. Contains the light receptor cells.
Rods
Vision in dim light + black & white vision
Cones
Vision in bright light. Coloured vision.
Conjunctiva
Thin transparent lining protecting the cornea.
Optic Nerve
Sends Impulses to the brain.
Defects + Correction
Long-sightedness - convex lens
Short-sightedness - concave lens
Vitreous Humour
Geo that maintains the shape of the eye.
Aqueous Humour
Keeps the shape of the cornea + lens, provides nutrients to both.
