* Visual Test -fuel must be clear & free of dirt,sludge or water
* Water reaction -Indicates the fuels ability to seperate from water. 20ml distilled water in 80ml fuel.No more than 2ml of seperation
* Colour test- Lovibond colour test,indicates the fuels age and condition using its colour.Old = dark
* Diesel fuel filtration test kit- inidcates particulate contamanination by passing fuel through a filtrr and timing how long until it becomes blocked. 250ml must be passed brfore filter reaches 15psi

• Visual-is water clean & free of debris?
• Chlorine- Chemets test (take a sample of water and compare it to different colour vials to get a chlorine level
• Taste- last test done, make sure it tastes clean
