Q

Structural change with tendinopathy

A
  1. Alterations to tendon cell population (overload detected by cells)
  2. Disorganisation of collagen (cells activate)
  3. Ground substance changes (matrix loses structure)
  4. Neovascularisation (new blood vessels and nerves enter area causing pain)
