A
- Reduced ROM
- Pain
- Muscle spasm
- Joint stiffness (capsule)

Effects of joint mobilisations
A
- Increased ROM (arthrokinematics)
- Loosen tight capsule
- Reduce pain (pain gate, descending inhibition)
- Increase length of surrounding soft tissues
- Placebo effect
- Decrease muscle spasm
