This is an abnormal accumulation of fluid in interstital spaces. Can be caused by overhydration, excess sodium intake or loss of serum albumin.
Edema
Discoloration of an area of the skin or mucous membrane cased by the extravasation of blood into the subcutaneous tissues as a result of trauma to the underlying blood vessels or by fragility of the vessel walls.
Ecchymosis
Abnormal elevation of body temperature above 98.6F because of disease.
Fever
Difficulty in breathing d/t certain heart and lung conditions, strenuous exercise or anxiety.
Dyspnea
Protective response of the tissues of the body to irritation or injury
Inflammation
You have this if you are frequently passing loose, liquid stools
Diarrhea
Yellowing of the skin; of ten indi cates obs truc tion in the flow of bile from the live er
Jaundice
The state or quality of being indifferet, apathetic, or sluggish.
Lethargy
The secretion of sweat, especially the profuse secretion associated with an elevated body temperature, physical exertion, exposure to heat, and mental and emotional stress.
Diaphoresis
This condition does not apply to the Blue Man Group.

Cyanosis
A sensation often leading to vomit
Nausea
A sudden audible expulsion of air from the lungs…..Ahem, ahem

Cough
Redness or inflammation of the skin or mucous membranes that is the result of dilation and congestion of superficial capillaries; it is seen in mild sunburn

Erythema
This is what the residents have after not having a BM for the past 3 days.
Constipation

An unnatural paleness or absence of color in the skin; often results from a decrease in hemoglobin and erythrocytes.

Pallor

a condition of debility, loss of strength and energy, and depleted vitlaity.
Asthenia
A symptom of itching and an uncomfortable sensation leading to an urge to scratch.
Pruritus
Lack of appetite resulting in the inability to eat
Anorexia

Pertaining to an unhealthy, yellow color
Sallow

An abnormal condition in whicha person has to sit or stand to breathe deeply or comfotably.
Orthopnea
To expel the contents of the stomach through the esophagus and out of the mouth.
Vomit

A creamy viscous, pale yellow or yellow green fluid exudate that is the result of fluid remains of liquefied necrosis of tissues.
