When you add power to the 200, is the CHARGER message good or bad?
Bad, either Main or APU battery not charging
When would a CHARGER message be displayed in a 200?
APU or Main airplane battery is not charging and is a no-go item

APU or Main airplane battery is not charging or overheating. They may be displayed.
If the Auto Transfer Fail light comes on, is it a good thing or a bad thing in a 200?
Good, it will prevent a failed bus from disabling the next prioritized generator. The respective auto-transfer has failed.

When will a fault light up in the IDG Light?
The IDG will automatically disconnect when an over-temperature or over-torque conditions occurs. IT indicates a fault within the IDG (low oil pressure or high lil temperature)
Pressing the IDG disconnect switch will do what in a 200?
Each IDG is provided with a disconnect switch which will disconnect the IDG from the engine gearbox in the event of a malfunction within the drive unit (IDG caution). Once disconnected, the IDG must be re-engaged manually by a mechanic after engine shutdown.
Press the IDG disconnect switch will do what in a 700/900?
The IDG will be electrically disconnect from the engine accessory gearbox. An electrical solenoid is energized that causes the drive gear to retract from the engine accessory gearbox. it can only be reconnected on the ground with the engine shut down.
In a 200, how many TRUs and how many amps can they produce?
5 TRUs, 100 amps each
In a 700/900, how many TRUs and how many amps can they produce?
4 TRUs, 120 amps each
What do the TRUs do?
For devices required DC power, the 115-vold AC power is converted into unregulated 28 cold DC power by the Transformer Rectifier Units (TRU)
When will the ADG deploy automatically in a 200?
The ADG automatically deploys into the airstream in the event of a total AC power loss while the aircraft is in flight.
When will the ADG deploy automatically in a 700/900?
AC BUS1 and AC BUS2 are unpowered, no weight on wheels and an aircraft generator was the last power source online.
With the ADG deployed, what bus does it power?
The ADG bus. When then powers the AC Essential Bus and Hydraulic pump 3B regardless of switch position
