What are the primary differences between a manual and an automatic engine start?
A
The FADEC provides a passive survey during a manual start and will provide appropriate ECAM cautions and procedures.
Automatic start interruption and auto-crank are not available, except when on ground, and the start EGT limit is exceeded before 50% N2.
