1-When do you use engine anti-ice?
2-Any exceptions?

A

1 -When OAT (ground)/TAT (flight) is 10 C or below with visible moisture present, or when standing water, slush, ice or snow is present on the taxiways or runway.
-Prior to and during descent in icing conditions (including temp below -40C SAT).
2 -During climb and cruise when the temp is below -40C SAT.
