1) straightforward and inexpensive
2) large numbers with limited resources

1) interviewees don’t need to answer sensitive questions
2) anonymity
What are 2 advantages on theoretical?
1) higher response rate
2) high in reliability
What are 2 disadvantages on practical?
1) time-consuming
2) cannot match the huge numbers by postal questionnaires
What are 2 disadvantages on ethical?
1) but suitable for exploring personal topics
2) no rapport
What are 2 disadvantages on theoretical?
1) lack verstehen
