Layer under enamel, not as hard as enamel. It has channels which contain cytoplasm, made of living tissue which secretes a hard mineral substance, nourished by pulp

Pulp cavity

A

Soft connective tissue that contains nerves and blood vessels. Found at the middle of the tooth. Extends from the crown to the tip of the root. Blood vessels present carry oxygen and nutrients in for the cells and remove waste products
