What is hypertension
hypertension is another name for high blood pressure
How should a hypertensive person’s diet be altered
-Eat more fruits, vegetables, and low-fat dairy foods.
-Cut back on foods that are high in saturated fat, cholesterol, and trans fats.
-Eat more whole-grain foods, fish, poultry, and nuts.
-Limit sodium, sweets, sugary drinks, and red meats.
-Eating a diet that is rich in whole grains, fruits, vegetables, and low-fat dairy products and skimps on saturated fat and cholesterol can lower your blood pressure by up to 11 mm Hg if you have high blood pressure. This eating plan is known as the Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension (DASH) diet
What happens when a person has a kidney disease
It means that their kidneys are not functioning as they should and cause waste and fluid to build up in the body
What is a kidney-friendly meal plan like and how does it help?
It limits how much certain minerals and fluids you eat
and drink. This can help keep the waste and fluid from building up and causing problems.

Limit potassium, phosphorous and fluids in their diet

What should a diabetic eat in a day
Diabetics should eat three meals a day at regular times in order to better use the insulin that the body produces or gets through medication
What should be avoided for a diabetic and what should be allowed
Avoided- Foods containing saturated fats, trans fats, cholesterol, and sodium should be avoided
Should eat- healthy carbohydrates, fiber-rich foods, fish, and “good” fats.
Lacto-vegetarian

Ovo-vegetarian

Elderly persons diets
Since elderly people are generally less active, they require less food and since some of them lose their teeth, they would need soft foods. Due to less food they can end up with an insufficient amount of essential nutrients so they must take vitamin supplements
