A new name for the democracy Germany became.

A majority is where a party has more than 1/2 the seats in the government.

They chose the Chancellor and could suspend the Weimar constitution and pass laws by decree.

They were elected by the people every 7 years.

The Chancellor and the Cabinet.

Choose all government ministers.
What is the Cabinet?
The main decision-making body of the government.
Who made up The Parliament?
The Reichstag and the Reichsrat.

What could the Reichstag do?
Control taxation.

The members of the Reichstag were directly elected by the people at least once every 4 years.

Each region of Germany.
