A
Prodrome
- fever
- non-specific URTI
Tender skin rash
- macules
- flaccid blisters
- on trunk
Severe ulceration of mucosa
Nikolsky +ve

How is SJS investigated?
A
Bloods
Skin biopsy

How is SJS diagnosed?
A
Skin detachment <10%
Widespread erythematous or purpuric macules

How is SJS managed?
A
ICU
Remove cause
IV fluids + electrolytes
Analgesia

What is TEN?
A
Toxic epidermal necrolysis
Worse SJS

A
