Each player begins to serve from the right hand side of the centre mark behind the baseline
The server is aiming to land in the opposite service box
In doubles they have the tramline to serve along

It can either be long, wide or both

They are allowed 2 serves and if they fault on both serves it’s a double fault
And they lose the point

If the player hit a serve in the service box but it hit the net
It can be on first or second serve and there are no limits to lets

When the server fails to return the serve of the opposing player
The player then wins the point
