A

A

Clear the court of any balls
Rolls any balls they have to the service end
Check to see if the bases at the non service end have any balls and receive balls
Check to see if the the bases at the service end are indicating no ball show and rolling any balls to service end

A

Raise arm to feed player and indicate no ball show

What’s the job of a base at the non service end?

A

Roll any balls to a centre on the umpires side of the court
Rolls any balls to a base at the service end on the non umpires side of the court ( long roll) or a centre waiting to receive
Clear the court
Aware can’t roll on umpires side unless a centre is there

A

Before the point is over eg between 1st and 2 nd serve

Point must be won or lost before rolling takes place

A

Put your arm up to feed

Listen to score if umpire says game then don’t put arm up if odds then say put if evens then transfer
