management for stable angina?

A

Prescribe sublingual glyceryl trinitrate (GTN) for the rapid relief of symptoms of angina. take spray and repeat after 5 mins (do this 2x before calling 999)

Prescribe a beta-blocker or a calcium-channel blocker (CCB) as first-line regular treatment

If both beta-blockers and CCBs are contraindicated or not tolerated, mono therapy with one of: A long-acting nitrate (such as isosorbide mononitrate).
Nicorandil.
Ivabradine.
Ranolazine.
