A
  1. every sportsperson has an existing level of trait sports confidence and an existing level of competitive orientation
  2. the amount of these two things determine the level of state sport confidence
  3. this then dictates the behaviour or performance of the athlete
  4. after the performance either satisfaction or disappointment will occur. these are known as subjective outcomes
