What is a spinal reflex?

A rapid, automatic nerve response triggered by specific stimuli, controlled by the spinal cord Alone.

What is a flexor reflex?
A
A withdrawal reflex.

What is a crossed extensor reflex?
A
A withdrawal reflex in which the flexors in the withdrawing limb contract and the extensors relax, while in the other limb, the opposite occurs.

What is a stretch reflex?
A
Muscles that are rapidly stretched contract very quickly afterward. A constant process of adjusting and maintaining. Ex: Knee Jerk
