On college campus it is hard to cook or find healthy food, all that’s near is bad food or too expensive
Chronic illness is
Las to for several months, years, or don’t stop
Acute illness is
The common cold, chicken pox, etc, come on and generally leave very quickly
Healthy ppl are
Productive members are functional for society, too many sick ppl would harm the society
Sick ppl must do what
Carry out a “sick” role as an excuse for their lack of productive, they mist go to the doctor and produce proof of sickness
What is medicalization
When maladies ( disorder or disease) become seen as medical problems rather than social or personal problems. Example, adhd and alcoholism
Social norms with marriage
Certain marriages have established certain roles, some mean do a lot more than the mom, aka stay at home dads

Men who take over the role of decision making
