Social determinants of health
A specific group of social and economic factors within the broader determinants of health. They relate to an individuals place in society (ex: income, education, etc.)
Socioeconomic status (ses)
A measure of education, income, and social class
Disability
~3.8 million Canadians, text Bon population, those are low income, or have low education, qualifications, or add an increased risk of disability, varies by age sex and gender
Invisible disability
Defined as disabilities that are not visible or apparent
Body Mass index (BMI)
Obesity series, disease, and characterized by BMI of 30 or above.
Sex
Biological and physiological characteristics of distinguished women and men
Gender
Affected by social and cultural constructed roles, relationships, behaviors, and other traits used to diverse gender identity
Social capital
Tangible resources, like medium places, intangible resources like the value of life, and the relationship between these resources which models behaviour and career choices as well as spaces for skilled development

Race
A social construct not based on biology or genetics. It refers to a group of people who share physical characteristics. (How people look.)

Refers to a group of people who share a culture (how people live)
