A wheel the unearned, benefits, advantages, favor, or right that a person receives by nature of their identity
Privilege and power
Privilege is And exists and all levels of society. Oppression occurs when someone does not have characteristics to benefit from privilege in comparison to others who have characteristics that give them advantages in society.
Intersectionality
Describes multiple forms of discrimination which overlap with each other, this is experienced by marginalized, individuals or groups (example a black woman who is large size and poor)
Positionally
The ways that differences in social position and power shape, identities, and access in society
The three ways to mitigate bias
Educate yourself, expose yourself to different perspectives, and approach/acknowledge the differences to exist and embrace them

Speak up, share resources, amplify voices that are marginalized, and show support
