A
- matching the requirements to the activity
- in your football, training for your cv or speed to have an advantage over your opponents

A
- when an athlete trains mote then they usually do, this is the only way athletes can improve
- working at a higher range then your minimum threshold of training working less then your maximum

- the needs of the athlete must come first, using another person’s training programme will not work for every individual
- an athlete just starting will not have the same fitness of a professional athlete

- frequency: how often you train, overlaps with rest and recovery
