Irregular Bones
Have odd shapes and vary in function. E.g. the vertebrae which helps protect the spinal column
Irregular bones offer protection when playing sport.

A joint is where two or more bones meet
Pivot Joints
Pivot joints allow bones to rotate
Hinge Joints
A hinge joint is a joint that allows any backward and forward motion
