Continuous training
Exercising at a constant rate doing aerobic activities for at least 20 minutes or more. Normally no rest periods. COF is cardiovascular fitness.
Fartlek training
A type of continuous training that involving intervals and change of intensity. The COF(component of fitness) is cardiovascular fitness
Circuit training
An endurance training or resistance training using high intensity aerobics. It also avoids repetition of using same muscles. COF are all components.
Interval training
Using fixed patterns of periods of high intensity exercise and either low intensity exercise or rest. COF is cardiovascular fitness.
Plyometrics training
A form of exercise that involves rapid and repeated stretching and contracting of the muscles,designed to increase strength and power. COF is MS and ME
Weight training
Using your muscles against a resistance. COF is MS and ME
