What is health?
A state of complete phyical, mental and social wellbeing.
What does wellbeing mean?
The state of being comfortable, healthy or happy
What are the physical effects of physical activity?
Improves your lungs (bigger) and helps get rid of fat
What are the emotional benefits of physical activity?
Helps release endorphins and seratonins which are chemicals to help make you feel better
What are the social benefits of physical activity?
Helps with feeling positive about interactions with other people and the wider world
What is the difference between health and fitness?
Health refers to diet, body fat and mental wellbeing whereas fitness is being adapted to the job or sport,such as a dart player (can be fat as he needs more hand eye coordination rather than core strength)
What are the six different lifestyle choices?
Work/life/sleep balance, alcohol, smoking , recreational drugs, activity levels and diet
