A

Bending movement that decreases the angle between body parts. ( shoulder, hip, elbow )
Sporting Ex : someone bending their up when doing a bicep curl

A

Straightening movement that increases the angle between body parts. ( shoulder, hip)
Sporting Ex : a swimmer swings the arm backwards in prep for a race dive

A

Movement that pulls towards the midline of the body. ( shoulder, hip )
Sporting Ex : a golfer on the tee swings the club towards tbd ball

A

Movement that pulls away from the midline of the body. ( shoulder, hip )
Sporting Ex : a gymnast moves their arms out sideways at the shoulder when preforming ‘ the curufix ‘ on the rings.
