What is it?
A
Excessive blood loss during labour or PPH leading to ischaemic necrosis of pituitary gland
Leads to hypopituitarism

What are the clinical features?
A
Lactation failure, amenorrhoea
Fatigue
Hypothyroidism
Can lead to panhypopituitarism

What is the management?
A
Hormone replacement e.g. steroids/levothyroxine
Regular monitoring
