Sexual Desire Disorder
Schreiner-Engel and Schaiavi noted that patients with this disorder rarely have sexual fantasies, seldom masturbates and attempt intercourse once a month or less. For men, prevalence increases with age.
Male Hypoactive Sexual Desire Disorder
Low sexual interest almost always accompanied by a diminished ability to become excited or aroused by erotic cues or sexual activity. They are unable to achieve vaginal lubrication. For women, the prevalence decreases with age.
Female Sexual Interest/arousal disorder
Males that have frequent sexual urges and fantasies and a strong desire to have sex but does not become physically aroused. Most common problems for men. Inability to achieve and maintain an erection, its prevalence increases with age.
Erectile Disorder
An inability to achieve an orgasm despite adequate sexual desire and arousal is commonly seen in women and less commonly seen in men.
Orgasm Disorders
Females who achieve orgasm only with great difficulty or not at all.
Female Orgasmic Disorder
Males who achieve orgasm only with great difficulty or not at all. They seldom seek treatment for this condition. Some are unable to ejaculate with their partners but can obtain an erection and ejaculate during masturbation.
Delayed Ejaculation
Ejaculatory fluids travel backward into the bladder rather than forward. It is almost always caused by the effects of certain drugs or a coexisting medical condition.
