- rare but serious: abnormal cardiac rhythm, prolonged QT on EKG
- serotonin syndrome: especially with taking other serotonin receptor blocking drugs

- Monitor for side effects
- Hold if s/s serotonin syndrome,
request EKG if heart arrhythmias - Teach: Immediately report change in
heart rate, lightheadedness, vertigo, s/s allergy (rash, fevers, chills, breathing problems)
