- Tachycardia
- Confusion
- Sweating
- Drowsiness
- Convulsions
- Coma/death
Indicated for treatment of severe hypoglycemia (blood glucose below 40 mg/dL)

● Fasting blood glucose greater than 130 mg/dl
● Polyuria, polydipsia, polyphagia
● Fruity breath
● Glucosuria, weight loss/gain, fatigue
