Separation Anxiety Disorder
A
Specific to separation from attachment or caregiving figure. If in an adult, usually a spouse or partner. In children, symptoms must be present for at least 4 weeks. In adults, Symptoms need to be present for at least six months. Very focused anxiety around the particular individual. Anticipatory anxiety about someone leaving. Constant worry.

Generalized Anxiety Disorder
A
Worrying about a number of different things. Across multiple domains. Symptoms must be present for 6 months or more in children or adults. If not, would be considered Unspecified Anxiety Disorder.
