Oppositional Defiant Disorder
These are commonly tested. Defiant, problems with authority, argumentative. Problems with any kind of directions. Don’t want to do things that other people tell them to do.
Conduct Disorder
Violations of the rights of others, vandalism, law breaking activity, initiate fights, destroying property and a lack of remorse. Often leads to antisocial personality disorder as an adult. One of the criteria for APD is that they had had CD as a young adult.
Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder
Used to be called Bipolar in children. Dx’d between the ages of 6-10. Up to the age of 17. Chronically irritable or moody. Reoccurring temper tantrums. Must happen at least three times per week. Mood is negative even when they are not having outbursts.
