When a Class A fire has been extinguished with FIREX, to prevent re-ignition the affected area must be dampened with water

Class B - Flammable liquids
Oil / fuel, greases, solvents, paints, burning liquid, cooking fats
Never use water / iquid to extinguish or cool

Class C - Electrical
a. Coffee makers, ovens
b. PSU fires
c. Circuit breakers
d. Lighting / Side - wall panels
Never use water / liquid to extinguish or cool
Do not dampen electrical equipment (except in the case of lithium battery fires)

Flight Crew Action

Cabin Crew Action
a. Ensure all the EXIT markings, signs or lights associated to the affected exit must be obscured
b. Ensure the affected exit is closed, latched and locked from the inside, and is placarded inoperative
c. Ensure the affected exit is closed prior to passenger boarding and remains closed for the duration of the flight
d. The number of passengers carried and their location in the cabin is in accordance with the operational procedure
e. Passengers should be seated as far away from the inoperative exit
f. Do not indicate the affected exit during the passenger safety briefing
g. Announcement shall be made to notify passengers that the particular exit is inoperative after the passenger safety briefing
h. During evacuation, a CC must be positioned at the inoperative exit and passengers redirected to other alternative exit
i. Flight Crew, Engineering personnel and CC liaison is essential
